Cuyahoga Falls City Council has given the green light for the Silver Birch Assisted Living Facility, a significant investment for the community. With an estimated construction cost of $17 million, this facility promises to enhance local healthcare offerings while creating jobs and improving the neighborhood. Set to break ground in October, the three-story building will be located at 432 E. Bath Road, adjacent to Broad Baptist Church.

The Silver Birch project includes 120 living units and is expected to employ approximately 45 full-time staff members, thus contributing to the local economy. Planning Director Rob Kurtz emphasized that this initiative reflects a commitment to investing in quality of life for residents. The development will take place on a 7.4-acre site, which currently houses three single-family homes that will be removed to make way for the new facility.
