After graduating from Marlington High School, Evans pursued an education at Malone College and The University of Akron. His commitment didn’t end in the classroom; he proudly served in the National Guard, showcasing his dedication to the nation alongside his career in education. Jerry retired from Field Local Schools after a remarkable 38 years, positively impacting countless young lives.
Family and Faith: The Cornerstones of His Life
A member of Maranatha Bible Church, Jerry found joy in participating in community activities, embodying the spirit of fellowship. However, his true joy came from being surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Debra A. Evans, their sons, Jason and Jonathan, and their grandchildren – a testament to a family life filled with love and support.
